Symptoms of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, abuse, loss, job stress, and relationship struggles can significantly interfere with your quality of life, causing you to feel as though you’re just “getting by” in life. I strongly believe, however, that life is way too short to settle for just getting by, and I would love to help empower you to make changes in your life that will lead to a positive outcome. My therapeutic treatment approach includes helping you to identify your triggers, finding ways to manage those triggers, and ultimately helping you to find relief and improvement in your overall quality of life.

About Alyssa

ON THE JOB:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I provide counseling to adults, children, and adolescents in my private practice in Blackwood, NJ. My office can be easily accessed from surrounding areas such as Washington Township, Haddonfield, Turnersville, Deptford Township, and Pitman. I am also certified in online therapy, allowing easy access for counseling from anywhere in the state of New Jersey.

I received my Master’s Degree from Rowan University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. From there, I began my career working as the lead counselor in Camden county’s Family Crisis Intervention Unit and continued on to work as a counselor and consultant for the Gloucester Township Police Department. I also speak at conferences and trainings and have run peer supervision groups for other mental health professionals.

OFF THE JOB:
When I am not working, I am usually spending my time with my husband and our three (yes, THREE!) dogs. I’m an animal lover, a coffee connoisseur, and a self-affirmed world champion in Mario Kart. I find joy in the little things in life and do my best to find laughter in every day.

About Noel

My practice would simply not be complete without my partner, Noel. Noel is a two year old Australian Shepherd therapy dog. She is registered with the American Kennel Club and is certified as a S.T.A.R puppy and a Canine Good Citizen. Noel loves to interact with children and adults and serves as a fantastic support during therapy sessions.
