Do you accept insurance?
I am considered an out-of-network health care provider for insurance companies, so I do not accept insurance directly. Many types of insurance plans have an out-of-network benefit where your insurance company will reimburse a certain percentage of the cost of each session. While payment is due at the time of service, I will promptly provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Your insurance company, if your plan has out-of-network benefits, will reimburse you by mailing you a check shortly after you submit your receipt.
How much do you charge per session?
Alyssa’s fee is $275, and most insurance companies will reimburse anywhere from 50%-80% of my fee after your deductible has been met.
Jennifer’s fee is on a sliding scale from $60 to $110. Because Jennifer is a Master’s-level intern, receipts from her sessions cannot be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Options For Extra Support In Addition To Therapy
Sometimes having therapy one hour a week simply does not feel like enough, especially when processing trauma. Some people require or prefer additional phone coaching services outside of their individual sessions. Phone coaching is appropriate during times when you are feeling triggered and need help figuring out how to use coping skills to get yourself grounded. Phone coaching is not meant for deep processing or story-telling, as it would be unsafe to process trauma during a short phone call/text exchange.
Opting into phone coaching will give you access to support outside of therapy hours in the form of 15-minute calls or text exchanges with me. I will assist you in working through the triggering situation so that you can get back to enjoying your life! While my business hours are from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday, opting into phone coaching will allow you to also have contact with me outside of business hours (9am-9pm, Mondays through Saturdays) in case you are needing support.
